Gina Russo | President

Gina Russo is a Station Fire Survivor, and lost her fiancé, Fred Crisostomi that night.  Gina is the proud mother of two sons, Alex and Nicholas, and makes her home in Cranston with them and her husband, Steve Sherman.  She has been employed by RI hospital for more than 20 years.  She is the author of the book “From the Ashes” and speaks all over the country about her story while educating about fire safety.

ROBIN PETRARCA | VICE PRESIDENT

Robin (Steets) Petrarca is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island as well as a Station Fire Survivor. She has 25+ years of experience in the accounting, management and finance field. In addition to having three grown children, she is an avid hiker, enjoys exploring new locations when vacationing and considers herself to be a music junkie.

Mike “Kaz” KACZMARCZYK | DIRECTOR

Michael Kaczmarczyk, affectionately known as “Kaz”, was born in Columbus OH and currently resides in Warwick, RI with his wife, Cara. He has worked as a machinist for 18 years . He has also been in the local music scene for nearly 25 years. Survivor of the Station Fire, is a long time supporter/contributor to any and all Station Fire related charities.

CARA DELSESTO KACZMARCZYK | DIRECTOR

Cara (DelSesto) Kaczmarczyk, affectionately known as “Kaz”, was born in Providence RI and currently resides in Warwick, RI. She has worked in the international banking industry for more than 8 years. Cara and her husband are Station Nightclub Survivors. She enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and watching him play bass in various bands throughout New England. She is an avid music lover.

LISA DEL SESTO | SECRETARY

Lisa Del Sesto was born in Providence, RI and currently resides in Johnston, RI. She works in the banking industry and has so for eight years. Lisa is also a Station Nightclub Survivor. Her favorite activities are spending time with her adopted greyhound Peanut. She is also an avid music lover.

CHRISTINA PIMENTEL | DIRECTOR

My name is Christina and I am a lifelong resident of West Warwick.  I am a special education teacher in West Warwick and love what I do!  My uncle, Carlos Pimentel Sr. passed away in The Station Fire. I enjoy working with kids, organizing fundraisers and helping local organizations.

PAULA ARPIN | TREASURER

My name is Paula (Gould) Arpin.  I have always been an office worker. Enjoy gardening, kayaking, animals and Rock and Heavy Metal music.  I met my husband at The Station in November of 2002.  John was a bouncer and I worked at the restaurant across the street.  Luckily, we both survived the fire and were married in August 2004.  I have two step-sons and we reside in Coventry.  The weeping cherry tree, a wedding gift, was planted in September 2004 to give some life where so much life was lost.  The Station and it’s 100 angels will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
